Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, the Department of Finance, located within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, offers you a four-year undergraduate program with a wide range of career opportunities. In our department; There are four main science branches, namely Finance Theory, Financial Economics, Financial Law, Budget and Financial Planning. Our teaching staff includes 2 associate professors, 3 doctorate faculty members and 1 research assistant.
The Department of Finance education program aims to provide our students with both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. In the early years of education, basic courses such as law, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, sociology, business, accounting and economics are given. These courses are offered in cooperation with other faculties and departments. As the education progresses, the focus is on finance science and topics such as taxes, public expenditures, government debts, budget, local government finance and fiscal policy are covered. In this way, our graduates have the necessary knowledge and skills for senior management in the public and private sectors.
Graduates of the Department of Finance have wide employment opportunities in many public institutions, especially the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and in the private sector.
